About me:

I am a qualified teacher and National Champion in Marathon and 70,3 Ironman (age group).
I have a bachelor's degree in sports and biology and extensive experience creating running plans for athletes at various levels. I also work as an instructor in spinning and running and as a Personal Trainer at fitness centre Gnist Trening og Helse.
I ran my first marathon in New York in 1987 and planned to do just one marathon. But the experience in New York was a "game changer" for me! Running with others from all over the world and watching runners fight their way to the finish line regardless of finish time did something to me.
The experience has led me to run the New York City Marathon 12 times and over 50 marathons around the world. Everything from smaller marathons in places such as Namsos, Beitostølen, Tromsø and Spitsbergen, to the big ones in New York, London, Rotterdam, Oslo, Stockholm, Munich and Berlin. All of them have given me wonderful experiences together with other running friends.
At 50, I wanted to challenge myself and set new goals. I started triathlon and started training to qualify for Ironman Hawaii, the ultimate triathlon competition! I accomplished the goal, and the memories of standing on the starting line in Kona, Hawaii, still give me goosebumps. Do you dream of reaching new goals? We can reach your goals together.
